Haitian descent, Lulu Orange Tyson is a South Florida native who on April 23rd won the crown of Mrs Haiti International 2016 in Boston, Massachusetts.
This beautiful young woman who will represent us on July 22nd and 23rd in Jacksonville, Florida, has a bachelor degree in Communication and a master in Corporate Business Administration.
Lulu Orange is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta sorority Beta Tau Zeta Chapter in Miami, Florida and has served in various positions on the local level as 2nd Vice President, State- Reporter, Business Partnership Chair, Miss Florida Zeta, Regional Miss SE Regional Zeta and National Interim Director of the Miss Zeta Phi Beta Pageant just to name a few. Lulu Orange married the love of her life Charlie Tyson which happens to be a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity.
CEO of her own company, Lulu Orange, Inc., the entertainment industry has no secrets for her. Lulu Orange started in the media at the early age of 14 with her first talk radio and TV show in Vero Beach, Florida. Later on, she was hired as one of the main disc jockeys in Boca Raton and was placed top 10 finalists on Miami’s next Great Radio Dj.
But her TV career really started when she was selected to give a news segment for an upcoming Miss Florida USA preliminary pageant for WJHG News Channel 7 Panama City. Since then she has headlined web TV series, giving the latest in celebrity interviews, fashion, current events and local happenings in the South Florida Area. Her own TV show titled “Oj In The Morning with Lulu Orange” showcase inspiring women CEO's who are on top in their industry encouraging other women to do the same.
Recently, while starting her own company, she launched her own clothing/beauty line “L'Orange Couture”. For the past two years, Lulu Orange gave out two Scholarships to graduating seniors seeking to pursue their collegiate studies. In the near future she plans on opening a "Scholarship Success Camp" which provides help to freshman, sophomores and juniors who are seeking additional funding for college in the summer breaks.
Most recently she developed the BeYOUtiful Role Models organization which empowers women to love the skin that they're in, exposing them to industry professionals who will teach workshops on topics such as interview skills, etiquette classes, etc... As a motivational speaker and author, Lulu Orange message is of love, acceptance and hope.
Last week, Lulu Orange was invited by the USA National Miss as a keynote speaker for over 200 contestants at the final in Boca Raton, Florida.
This week, while competing in “ Mrs, Miss and Miss Teen International 2016”, Lulu Orange will fight for her platform: “Investing in Our Youth for A Better Tomorrow!". Through mentorship, empowerment and community service, her platform is her way, to instill positive core values in our youth so that they can be successful in their future personal endeavors.
“I am truly honored to have mentors in my life growing up from Haitian immigrant parents, said Lulu Orange. Pageantry has opened many doors for me and has taught me valuable skills such as confidence, public speaking skills and the importance of giving back and being a role model for young women. Professionally it has also assisted me in excelling in my role as a Nurse Liaison by spreading compassion for others.”
The finals of“Mrs, Miss and Miss Teen International 2016” is scheduled to be held July 22 & 23 at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts (Jacksonville, Florida).
